Snare drums produce ringing overtones that normally need to be tamed during the recording process with special drumheads, tape, gels, mutes, cloths, etc. RC Ring changes that process, allowing you to record your snare drum wide open and control unwanted overtones with one simple dial during mixing.

RC Ring uses AUTO tech to measure the overtone frequencies of the snare drum across three bands and applies processing specifically to those overtones. You can choose how much to reduce the ringing—or even enhance it. AUTO tech leaves the attack of the drum untouched, preserving your authentic drum tone while applying processing only to the tail of each drum hit.
